Education is the foundation of human capability — yet how we measure it pulls children apart, evaluating literacy, reasoning, and wellbeing separately and fragmenting what they develop together. This session asks what needs to shift: from counting outputs in silos to evidencing how the whole child develops. Drawing on 12,000 underserved learners, contributors show how CARE–KNOW–DO and offline-first AI-enhanced MERL, including AI-Unplugged, hold wellbeing, knowledge, and action together — reaching learners the digital divide excludes, children with special needs under-counted in crisis.
