Event Description

Led by the Movement for Reading Comprehension—a collective of 300+ organizations, formed by six coalitions across Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru—this session positions early literacy as the foundation of human capability and sustainable development. Senior leaders (CAF, World Bank, OEI, Instituto Natura, with IDB, UNESCO and UNICEF invited) will set out concrete steps to strengthen the post-2030 literacy agenda, sparking an eye-level dialogue across sectors. It marks a milestone in an alignment already underway, culminating in a region-wide pledge for wide public reach.
